Redesigned Shared Services intranet site based on usability studies and communication with senior management to obtain specifications. Redesign included custom web applications such as search engine, XML news feeds utilizing RSS 0.91, PHP, and XML, and strict adherence to U.S. Section 508 web accessibility guidelines.

Created custom, web-based survey management and incident log software using PHP and MySQL resulting in a cost-avoidance of over $55,000. Ported survey system to a PHP / Microsoft SQL Server environment. System includes database driven user administration, survey creation and management system, and bulletin-board style logging system.

Developed custom file upload management system, which allows registered users to post various file types on specific pages of the web site. System authentication was integrated with the survey software to allow for consolidated user management.

Primary computer support for sort plan editing software within a large geographical area. Developed training materials and curriculum for sort plan editing software; answered incoming calls from users, troubleshooting problems, and when necessary, escalating the issue to second tier (national) support center.
