IE7 Windows XP vs. IE7 Windows Vista Bugs???
I recently came across a site that seems to show that IE7 has different rendering engines depending on which Operating System you're using. It appears that IE7 on Windows (r) XP renders slightly, albeit noticeably different than does IE7 on Windows (r) Vista. Below are 2 screen shots.
Screenshot of IE7 on XP

Notice the 3 - 4 pixel jog.
Screenshot of IE7 on Vista

No 3 - 4 pixel jog.
Now I realize that the site has a few HTML / CSS errors. The CSS errors are all * html or *declaration hacks for IE6. The html errors are mostly incorrect elements (block type element not allowed) and invalid attributes. So I don't think these are causing the issue. My guess is that there's a significant portion of the web that uses / has similar problems.
To protect the innocent, I've removed all the references to the site, but if someone wants more info, feel free to contact me for more info.
